Sending Messages
Getting your invitation out, and keeping guests in the loop as the big day approaches.
Sending the invitation
When your guest list is ready and your event page looks the way you want it, you can send email invitations to everyone straight from Harmony.
- Open the Messages tab on your event.
- Click Send Invitation.
- Choose who to send to — all guests, or just those who haven't received one yet.
- Review the preview, then click Send.
Each guest receives a personal invitation with a link to your event page, where they can RSVP and see all the details.
Tip: You can send to specific guests by selecting them in the guest list first, then choosing to send only to your selection.
Email isn't the only way to invite people, though. Every event also has a public link you can share however your guests already talk — WhatsApp, a text, social, or a group chat. See Sharing Your Event for how.
Sending a follow-up message
After the initial invitation, you can send message blasts to update guests — a reminder as the date gets closer, a venue change, a note of excitement.
- Open the Messages tab.
- Click Send Message.
- Write your message. Keep it personal — this lands directly in your guests' inbox or messages.
- Choose who receives it: everyone, just those who are attending, or just those who haven't replied yet.
- Click Send.
Follow-up messages are one of the most effective ways to nudge people who haven't RSVPed yet.
Viewing delivery history
The Messages tab keeps a record of every message you've sent. Click on any send to see:
- Who received it
- When it was sent
- The delivery status for each guest
This makes it easy to spot if any messages bounced or didn't get through.
Delivery statuses
- Sent — the message left Harmony and is on its way
- Delivered — confirmed that it reached your guest's inbox or phone
- Failed — something went wrong; check the guest's contact details and try again
Tip: If a message fails for a guest, open their details in the guest list, correct their email or phone number, and send again.
