Collecting RSVPs

Ask about the things that help you care for your guests: dietary needs, travel plans, song requests, or a favourite memory to share on the night.

Why use RSVP questions?

Your questions appear in the RSVP form, alongside the guest's details. Their answers stay with their guest record, so you can find everything together.

Keep the form short and welcoming. Only make a question required if you need its answer to prepare.

Adding a question

Create your event first, then:

Open Update event page or Design, then choose Questions.
Click Add question.
Write your question and, if helpful, a short explanation.
Choose the answer type and add options for a select question.
Turn on Required if guests must answer before submitting their RSVP.
Click Add Question in the dialog.

Questions save immediately, separately from the invitation's Save Changes button. You can also open them through Manage guest questions in the editor's RSVP panel.

Question types

Text — guests write their own answer. Useful for dietary needs, song requests, or a personal note.
Single select — guests choose one option. Useful for a meal choice or preferred activity.
Multi-select — guests choose several options. Useful for activities or dietary preferences that can overlap.

An answer type can't be changed after the question is created. If you need a different type, add a new question and archive the old one.

Ordering your questions

New questions appear after the existing ones. Use the up and down arrows beside a question to move it earlier or later in the form. Each move saves straight away.

Viewing responses

Open Guests and use a guest's profile button to see their answers alongside their response and party details. You can also edit answers there if someone contacts you with a change.

Filter your guest list by response when you want to focus on the people who are coming.

Editing and removing questions

In Questions, use the edit icon beside a question to change its wording, explanation, options, or required setting. Click Save Changes in the question dialog to save that question.

To stop asking a question, click its archive icon and confirm Archive. It moves to the archived questions section and disappears from new RSVP forms. Answers already recorded remain available with the guest's details.

Tip: Finalize your wording and options before sending invitations. Changing what a question means can make earlier answers harder to interpret.
