Anjali & Rohan are engaged. Come raise a glass with us!

24 April 2027 · The Courtyard · From 6 pm

You’re invited

An example of what you can make your own.

MORE ROOM TO ENJOY THE MOMENT

A little less organising. A little more celebrating.

Share the story behind the yes

Add a favourite photo and a short note about the proposal. Personalise the typography and colours so the page feels like the two of you, whether the party is formal or wonderfully relaxed.

Help two circles feel welcome

When friends and families are meeting for the first time, clear hosting details help. Explain the format, dress code, and who guests can contact with questions.

Turn replies into dinner plans

Keep attendance, accompanying guests, and food preferences together. You can review the guest list when arranging a restaurant table or planning drinks and canapés.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE EVERYONE FEEL WELCOME

What to include in your invitation.

The couple and the hosts

Name both partners and say who is inviting everyone. Add a brief personal welcome rather than assuming guests already know both families.

The kind of celebration

Say whether it’s a seated dinner, drinks reception, or casual gathering. Guests can plan their evening around the format.

A FEW WORDS TO GET YOU STARTED

Engagements invitation wording.

Use these examples as a starting point. Swap in your names, dates, and the details that make the celebration yours.

From the couple

We’re engaged! Join Anjali and Rohan for an evening of happy news, good food, and the people who make it all sweeter. Come raise a glass to our next chapter. Please let us know if you can join.

Hosted by family

With happy hearts, we invite you to celebrate the engagement of Anjali and Rohan. Please join our families for dinner and a toast to the years ahead. Venue and RSVP details are below.

Casual drinks

There’s a ring, a story, and plenty to celebrate. Meet us for drinks as we mark the beginning of something lovely. No big speeches required — just bring yourself and your best wishes.

THOUGHTFUL QUESTIONS. USEFUL ANSWERS.

RSVPs that help you prepare.

An engagement RSVP covers this party. Explain wedding plans separately rather than leaving guests to infer that one invitation includes the other.

Learn how to add RSVP questions ↗
  • Do you have any dietary requirements?
  • What are the names of the people joining your party?
  • Is there anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable?

Choose text, single-select, or multi-select answers. You can make questions optional and review responses in each guest’s details.

BEFORE YOU SEND THE INVITATIONS

A few good-to-knows about engagements.

Is there an engagement-specific starting design?

You can choose Something else in the event creator and personalise the title, colours, fonts, photo, and description for your engagement. Harmony also has a wedding starting design if you prefer that look.

Can our families host the engagement party?

Yes. Put the couple’s names in the event title and introduce the hosts in the welcome or description. Add a host contact for practical questions.

How do I word an invitation for a small engagement dinner?

Say it’s an intimate dinner, name the hosts, and include a clear arrival time. Specify who is invited so you can confirm the right number of seats with the restaurant.

Can I reuse this page as our wedding invitation?

Create a separate event for the wedding so each celebration has its own details and guest replies. You can link to the wedding page from your engagement description when you’re ready to share it.
