BEFORE YOU INVITE YOUR PEOPLE
A wedding invitation wording generator with fill-in patterns
Use this wedding invitation wording generator by choosing a pattern and replacing the blanks with your names, wedding date, venue, and reply-by date. Add your invitation link to the final RSVP line. These are static fill-in patterns you can read and adapt without an account; no form submission is needed. Choose the style closest to your celebration, keep only confirmed details, and check that every placeholder has been replaced before sending.

Who this is for
This tool suits someone who wants usable text quickly and already knows the basic wedding details. It does not generate facts about your celebration or decide who is invited. If you are still choosing a tone, the wedding wording guide shows completed fictional examples; the patterns here leave the important details blank for you.
Choose the hosting arrangement before filling anything in. “Together with our families” means something different from a message sent by one parent or by the couple alone. Keep the wording honest and comfortable for the people named. You can make the message shorter without removing the reply deadline or venue.
How to generate your wording
Work through one pattern at a time. Copy it into your own editor, replace the brackets, and read the result as a guest would. Nothing you type needs to be sent to this page. The patterns remain available to read without signing up for Harmony.
- Choose a style and replace [Name one] and [Name two] with the couple’s names. Add hosts only when they are actually hosting.
- Replace [Date], [Time], and [Venue, city] with confirmed details. Include the year if useful and write the month in words for an international guest list.
- Replace [Reply-by date] and [Invitation link]. Open the link yourself and check that the page agrees with the wording.
- Remove unused brackets and any ceremony, dinner, or travel sentence that does not apply. Ask another person to check the final names, address, and dates.
What to include: twelve fill-in patterns
Every pattern ends with an RSVP line pointing to a link. That line gives the guest a clear action after reading. If the full schedule is on your invitation page, a shorter pattern can work for WhatsApp while the page carries the complete details.

A worked example: replace every blank
Take the short-message pattern and fill in fictional details: “Dear Maya, join Asha and Rohan for our wedding on 14 February at 4 pm, Lotus House, Pune. We’d love to see you there. Details and RSVP by 20 January: [your actual invitation link].” The names and venue here are illustrative, not customer information.
Before sending your real version, replace the final link and test it. Check that a reader knows whether they are invited alone or with a partner. Harmony can provide the invitation page and browser RSVP without a guest account; the wording still needs to explain your actual guest arrangements.
When not to use a fill-in pattern
These patterns cannot confirm ceremonial wording, family titles, or the functions a particular guest should attend. Ask the hosts or a trusted reviewer about those details. Remove unconfirmed content instead of completing a blank with a guess. Use a specialist creative service if you want a designed animated video rather than written invitation text.
Frequently asked questions
Does this use AI to write my invitation?
- This page provides static fill-in patterns. It does not submit your details to an AI service or generate personalized text automatically. Choose a pattern and adapt it yourself.
Do I need an account to use the patterns?
- No. The patterns are visible here without an account. You can separately start a Harmony invitation page if you want a link with RSVP; Harmony is free to start, with no credit card to start.
How do I make the wording more personal?
- Add one short sentence in your own voice before the practical details. Keep the names, date, venue, and reply instructions clear. A personal welcome should not make guests hunt for the information they need.
